2018 SMC Okaville Food Bank Donation

The Oakville Food Bank is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers, and have been helping the needy families of Oakville since 1988. They serve 350 to 420 families (approx. 1,300 people) per month out of their location at 1240 Speers Road, between 3rd Line and 4th Line.

This is a brand new initiative at SMC started in  2018 which aligns with our values-to work as a team. Our employees understand individuals and families across our communitiy need assistance, and we could not be more proud to be an new annual donor of the Oakville Food Bank. 

Durring December SMC collected over 6 large boxes of food and ran a 50/50 raffle to raise money for the OFB.   Our winner of the raffle was kind enough to donate her portion of the draw winnings back to the OFB.

We look forward to making the a yearly tradition as we feel that everyone could use a helping hand when they are in a time of need.
