SM Cyclo of Canada, Ltd. Celebrates 40 Years in Canada

Oakville, ON - June 12, 2024 - SM Cyclo of Canada, Ltd. is thrilled to announce its 40th anniversary of operations in Canada!

On June 12, 1984, Sumitomo Machinery Corporation of America opened its first North American office outside the United States. With just two employees in the office and one in the shop building Cyclo units, this marked a significant step in expanding the company's presence and enhancing customer service in Canada.

Over the past four decades, SM Cyclo of Canada, Ltd. has grown substantially, becoming a leading supplier of industrial speed reducers in the Canadian market. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication of its team, the trust of its customers, and the support of its partners.

To commemorate this milestone, SM Cyclo of Canada, Ltd. will host celebrations on June 12, 2024, at its Oakville, ON, and Surrey, B.C. facilities. These events will feature various activities to honour the company's history and achievements.
